Kendriya Vidalaya region Badminton Tournament concluded
Patiala-49THRegional Sports Meet of KVS Chandigarh Region for the event Badminton under different categories of age groups and was held in Kendriya Vidyalaya No 2 Patiala from April 30 to May 2 , 2018.
The venue Principal Islam Khan declared the opening of the Regional Sports Meet with his valuable words. He emphasized on the importance of games and sports for the holistic development of the students. All the participants from Chandigarh Region took part in it enthusiastically. The first prize was bagged by the teams of K V 1 RCF HUSSAINPUR (Under 14) , KV 2 HALWARA (Under 17), K V NO 1 PATHANKOT (Under 19), SECOND POSITION was secured by the team of K V NO 1 PATHANKOT (Under 14) ,K V NO 1 PATHANKOT (Under 17) and K V FATEHGARH (REONA UNCHA) (Under 19) and THIRD POSITION was secured by the team of KV BARNALA (Under 14), KV SURANASSI (Under 17) and KV2, FEROZEPUR (Under 19).
The three days Regional Sports Meet was concluded . On the occasion of closing ceremony of this meet the worthy principal again encouraged students to grab such opportunities in their future life too as these activities ensure their all round development and help them in learning team work, competitive spirits discipline and above all in becoming a good citizen of India.The 12 selected players will participating in KVS National Sports Meet at Bhubneswar.
