School of Commerce and Management of GSSDGS Khalsa College Patiala celebrated International Commerce Day today. Institute of Chartered Accountants of India initiated to celebrate international commerce education day. The objective of the event was to spread a message about the significance and scope of the commerce in day to day life. Students from BBA, B.Com, B.Com (Accounting and Finance), B.Com Honors, MBA, MLD and M.Com. participated with great enthusiasm and zeal. Students from various Commerce classes showcased their talents by participating in essay writing and debate competition.
Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha, Principal Khalsa College said the role of commerce exists in every sphere of the mankind. He stated the importance of e-commerce as well in the field of commerce to the students. He encouraged the students by distributing the prizes to the winners and participants of essay writing and debate competition.
Dr. Jasleen Kaur, HOD and Deputy Principal, congratulated and appreciated the whole department and students for the contribution of their efforts for participation in such a large number and promised to carry on such activities in the department so as to boost the confidence and knowledge of the students.
