Khalsa College Patiala got 3.18 CGPA in NAAC Accreditation

Khalsa College Patiala has been awarded A grade by NAAC, an organization for grading colleges and universities across India. The college got this information through an email message received today. This achievement was accomplished by the college after getting 3.18 CGPA. NAAC Peer team recently paid two day visit to the college in which the overall performance of the college such as achievements in the field of education, contribution in the field of sports, examination management, work done for the welfare of the students etc. were evaluated by the team. In order to thank Waheguru for this achievement of the college, all the staff members gathered at Gurdwara Sahib in the college campus.
Expressing happiness on this occasion, the college principal Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha said that due to the hard work of the entire staff of the college, the cooperation of the college governing body and the able leadership of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, we have been able to achieve this success. He thanked the entire teaching and non-teaching staff of the college as well as the President of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Sri Amritsar Sahib, Harjinder Singh Dhami, Honorary Secretary, College Governing Body, Surjit Singh Rakhra, Sukhminder Singh, Secretary Education, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and Satwinder Singh Tohra, Member College Governing Body. In addition to this, Dr. Ubha specially thanked the students for their contribution and cooperation. Harjinder Singh Dhami, President Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Sri Amritsar Sahib, in his congratulatory message, congratulated the college principal and the entire staff and said that it is due to their hard work and dedication that the college has achieved ‘A’ grade. He also said that the educational institutes run under the aegis of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) are constantly reaching new heights of progress. He also praised the Honorary Secretary of the college, Surjit Singh Rakhra and Sukhminder Singh, Secretary Education, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee.
Expressing happiness on this occasion, Surjit Singh Rakhra, Honorary Secretary, College Governing Body and former Minister, Punjab Government, said that all the staff members and Principal of the college deserve congratulations on this achievement.
Sukhminder Singh, Secretary Education, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, said that he is constantly striving for the progress of the institutions under the management of the Shiromani Committee. Achieving ‘A’ grade by the college proves that colleges under SGPC are among the reputed institutions in the country and they have been recognized by the NAAC as the leading institutions of higher learning in the country.
Satwinder Singh Tohra, Member, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Sri Amritsar Sahib and Member, Governing Body of the College, congratulated the Principal and staff of the college and wished for the progress of the college in future also.
