Khalsa College Patiala honour newly reelected SGPC President

Gobind Singh Ji Longowal was honored today at Khalsa College Patiala for being elected President of Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee, Sri Amritsar Sahib for the third consecutive time. Gobind Singh Longowal said in his speech that he is feeling immense pleasure during this honor ceremony organised by the staff members and Governing Body of Khalsa College Patiala. He said that it would be his priority to promote better education and research work in educational institutions running under SGPC.
Surjit Singh Rakhra, Honorary Secretary, Khalsa College Governing Body, congratulated Gobind Singh Longowal and expressed his hope that the institution being run by SGPC would carve a niche among other institutions in the world, under the able guidance of Bhai Gobind Singh Longowal.
College Principal Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha congratulated Gobind Singh Longowal on behalf of all the staff members. He said in his speech that Khalsa College Patiala has gained new heights of success in the past, due to the efforts made by Gobind Singh Longowal. Gobind Singh Longowal also performed the ceremony of initiating the work at Prof. Piara Singh Padam Research Center at Khalsa College Patiala. Newly elected Executive Members of SGPC, Bibi Kuldeep Kaur Tohra and Jasmer Singh Lachhru were also honored during this occasion. Prof. Jaspreet Kaur of conducted the proceedings when Khalsa College Patiala honour newly elected SGPC President.
