Khalsa College Patiala honoured with Asia Education Award-2019

International Brand Consulting Corporation of America honoured Khalsa College Patiala with Asia Education Award – 2019 as a trustworthy Institution, at Bangkok. After receiving the award, College Principal, Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha told that the representatives of Institutions and Companies from the other countries like Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Phillipines, China, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore and Nepal had also reached for the award ceremony to receive the award.
Dr. Ubha told that topmost brands, companies and educational Institutions were honoured during the award ceremony. He also told that according to CEO of organizing company, Hemant Kaushik, the selection of top Educational Institutions has been done on the basis of Consumer Research, in which Academic level of Institution, Sports and other co-curricular activities, students, former students, Values of Institution, Administration, Intellectual level of staff members were the major yardsticks.
Dr. Ubha told that during the grand ceremony held at Grand Hyatt hotel of Bangkok, Police Chiefs of Bangkok, President of Indo-Thai Chamber of Commerce, Member of Parliament and other prominent personalities were present. Dr. Jagjit Singh, Head, PG Department of Music, Khalsa College Patiala, presented a ghazal during the ceremony which was appreciated by everyone.
Dr. Ubha gave the information that Khalsa College Patiala is planning with President of Indo-Thai Chamber to provide education to Indian students living in Thailand. Dr. Ubha also distributed a booklet on the life of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in Thai language. President SGPC, Gobind Singh Longowal, Honorary Secretary of College Governing Body, Surjit Singh Rakhra and Director Education, SGPC Dr. Tejinder Kaur Dhaliwal congratulated the college on this achievement.
