Kendriya Vidyalaya 2 DMW Patiala celebrated its annual day and prize distribution day with great pomp and show .
Ramesh Kumar Chief administrative officer C A O(R) graced the occasion as the chief guest. The programme started at 11 AM chief guest and principal lightened the lamp- the symbol of knowledge and prosperity.
Opening programme was devotional dance to goddess Sarasvati. Principal Shashikant formally welcomed the guests and dignitaries. Ramesh kumar and Rajkanya Somani gave away prizes to the achievers who excelled in different fields -academics ,sports ,co-curricular activities.
Skit by tiny tots mesmerized all the audience presents in the hall. Main attractions of the programme were BHANGRA and HINDI skit by senior students. Annual report of the Vidyalaya was read by Principal.
Chief Guest in his address advised the students to work hard to achieve their goals. He highly appreciated and applauded the visionary element of the school and the programme was concluded successfully.
