KYC of new Mann cabinet: all ministers assumes charge; doctors, lawyers, matriculates dominates the full cabinet

Today newly appointed cabinet ministers Mohinder Bhagat and Tarunpreet Singh Sond assumes charge in the presence of their family members. Earlier, Barinder Kumar Goyal had assumed charge on September 26 and Dr Ravjot Singh and Hardeep Singh Mundian on September 25th, 2024
With their joining, the Bhagwant Mann led cabinet becomes fully functional. In the new cabinet, 16 ministers including the chief minister will run the state.
The Mann cabinet has a mixture of ministers with variety of qualification. The cabinet has three MD doctors, three lawyers with L.LB degree, one each MA, BA passout, one B.Com (1st year), two 10+2 passout and 5 matriculates. The details are as :
Bhagwant Mann– He is around 51 years of age and a seasoned artist, politician by profession. He is B.Com (1st year) and represent Dhuri (Sangrur district) in the vidhan sabha.
Harpal Singh Cheema-He is around 50 years old. He represents Dirba constituency (in Sangrur district) and is a L.LB . He is an advocate by profession.
Aman Arora- He is around 50 years old and is a BA. He is a businessman by profession. He is a second time MLA. He won Sunam assembly (in Sangrur district) election with highest margin of more than 75000 votes.
Dr. Baljit Kaur– She is around 49 years old and represents Malout (in Muktsar Sahib) in the vidhan sabha. She is a doctor by profession and is MS (Ophthalmology).
Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal– He is around 63 years old. He represents Ajnala (in Amritsar district) in Punjab Vidhan sabha. He is a matriculate and was businessman before elected as a MLA.
Dr. Balbir Singh- He is around 68 years old and represents Patiala (Rural) in the vidhan sabha. He is a doctor by profession and is MS (Ophthalmology).
Hardeep Singh Mundian- He is an MLA Sahnewal in Ludhiana district. He is around 49 years old and is also a businessman. He is matriculate.
Lal Chand Kataruchak– He is around 54 years and represent Bhoa constituency (in Pathankot district). He is a social worker before elected as a MLA. He is a matriculate.
Laljit Singh Bhullar– He is around 43 years old and represents border constituency of Patti (in Tarn Taran district) in the vidhan sabha. He is 12th pass and into agriculture, commission agent business.
Harjot Singh Bains– He is around 34 years old and represents Ananadpur sahib constituency (in Ropar district) in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha. He is BA, L.LB (Hons) and is an advocate before elected as a MLA.
Harbhajan Singh-He is around 56 years and represents Jandiala (in Amritsar district) in the vidhan sabha. He is MA (Political Science) . He was selected as an Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO) in 2012 but he took voluntary retirement from the post of ETO in 2017.
Barinder Kumar Goyal- He is an MLA from Lehraghagga in Sangrur district and is around 66 years old. He is having a consultancy business. He is BA. L.LB
Tarunpreet Singh Sond– He is an MLA from Khanna in Ludhiana district. He is around 41 years of age and is a businessman. He is 10+2 qualified
Dr. Ravjot Singh– He is an MLA from Shamchurasi in Hoshiarpur district and is around 48 years old. He is a practicing as adoctor. He is MD (Medicine).
Gurmeet Singh Khudian-He is around 62 years old and a resident of village Khuddian Gulab Singh under Tehsil Malout in Sri Muktsar Sahib district is representing Lambi constituency in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha. He is an agriculturist by profession and is 10th pass.
Mohinder Bhagat– He is an MLA from Jalandhar West in Jalandhar district. He is around 67 years old and a businessman. He is matriculate .
