KYC of two new cabinet ministers- 10th pass and BA, B.Ed MLAs to join Mann brigade

Yesterday, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had forwaded the resignation of Local Government Minister Dr Inderbir Singh Nijjer from the Council of Ministers to the Governor Banwari Lal Purohit for early acceptance and proposed the names Balkar Singh, MLA Kartarpur, and Gurmeet Singh Khudian, MLA Lambi, for inducting them as Cabinet Ministers.
Chief minister Bhagwant Mann had had requested the Governor to accord kind approval to administer the Oath of Office & Secrecy to the new Ministers at 11 am on May 31 in Punjab Raj Bhawan, Chandigarh.
60 years old Balkar Singh is AAP MLA from Kartarpur in Jalandhar district. He is a graduate and B.Ed. and retired as DCP in Punjab police. He is one of the crorepati MLA of aam aadmi party in Punjab.
60 years old Gurmit Singh Khuddian , a resident of village Khuddian Gulab Singh under Tehsil Malout in Sri Muktsar Sahib district is representing Lambi constituency in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha. He is an agriculturist by profession and is 10th pass.
The biggest upset for shiromani akali dal was in Lambi where SAD patriarch and five-time CM Badal, whose career spans over seven decades, lost his traditional seat to AAP’s Gurmeet Khudian by 11,357 votes.
Gurmit Singh Khuddian is not the only one who is 10th pass. Cabinet minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal is also a 10th pass. Dhaliwal is representing Ajnala constituency in the Punjab Vidhan sabha.
