Bharatiya Janata Party Ropar District President Ajayvir Singh Lalpura today reached Gurdaspura village to celebrate the historic victory of the farmers. On this occasion, he welcomed the farmers by showering flowers on them and said that this victory belongs to the farmers of Punjab and their unity, which forced the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government to bow down.

Lalpura said, “This is the farmers’ victory. The Punjab government’s land pooling policy was aimed at seizing farmers’ land. We consistently raised our voice against it, launched awareness campaigns, and went to every village to inform farmers about the dangers of this policy. Ultimately, under the pressure of Punjab’s united people, the government had to withdraw this policy.”

He termed AAP’s policies as anti-farmer and said that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was working at the behest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. “The Punjab government is a puppet of Kejriwal. Decisions are not taken for Punjab, but for AAP’s political gains,” said Lalpura.

He further stated that land is the motherland of farmers, and the BJP has always been committed to protecting farmers’ rights. Under the land pooling policy, the government was planning to deprive farmers of their ancestral land, but the BJP opposed it at every level, calling it anti-farmer.

A large number of farmers and villagers participated in the program held in Gurdaspura. As soon as Ajayvir Singh Lalpura arrived, villagers gave him a warm welcome and raised slogans of “Kisan Ekta Zindabad” (Long live farmers’ unity). Lalpura declared from the open stage that the BJP would always stand with Punjab’s farmers and their rights over their land.

He said, “The people of Punjab now understand AAP’s true face. This government only makes hollow promises but, in reality, attacks the rights of farmers, laborers, and common citizens. The withdrawal of the land pooling policy is proof that when the people unite, any government can be forced to step back.”

Congratulating the farmers, Lalpura said, “This victory is not just the rollback of a policy, but a victory of Punjab’s pride, identity, and farmers’ rights. It sends a message across the country that Punjab’s farmers will never give up their land at any cost.”

On this occasion, BJP workers also showered flowers in honor of the farmers and distributed sweets to celebrate the victory. Lalpura honored all the farmers by presenting them with ceremonial shawls and offered them sweets.
