Lalpura thanks CM Nayab Saini for Job Announcement for 1984 Anti-Sikh Riot Victims’ Families

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Rupnagar District President Ajayvir Singh Lalpura has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP government, and Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini for the historic decision to provide government jobs to the family members of those who were martyred during the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. He said this decision is not only a major relief for the victim families but also reflects the BJP government’s sensitivity and commitment towards justice.

Ajayvir Singh Lalpura especially thanked former Chairman of the National Commission for Minorities, Iqbal Singh Lalpura, highlighting his relentless efforts since 2021 to bring this issue to the attention of both the central and state governments. He said it is the result of Iqbal Singh Lalpura’s tireless dedication, determination, and continuous efforts that today the riot-affected families are finally getting their due rights.

Lalpura stated that the BJP government has always stood firmly with the victim families. Upholding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas,” this decision symbolizes the BJP’s unwavering commitment to justice and development. He emphasized that the BJP doesn’t just make promises but delivers on them.

He also appealed to the people of Punjab to support the BJP in the upcoming 2027 Assembly elections and help establish a strong and sensitive government in the state. Lalpura said, “The BJP government in Haryana has ensured justice for the victim families, and now the time has come for the people of Punjab to place their trust in the BJP as well, to bring about transparent and fair governance here.”
