Lecture on cyber awareness organised by Govt Bikram College of Commerce

Recently, the NSS department of Govt Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala organise a lecture on cyber awareness in the college under the guidance of College Principal Prof (Dr) Kusum Lata.
The extensive use of digital devices and sharing information online can open us to various cyber security dangers.The best way to fight cyber-crime is through awareness and prevention.
Dr. Harsimran Kaur of Dept of Computer science shared information about types of cyber-crime,Prevention of cyber bullying,Online frauds,Online Privacy and safety,unauthorised access to accounts etc.
About 83 volunteers participated in the program and NSS program Officers Shashi Bala and Satinder Kaur were present.
