Life Savers on Call: 108 Ambulance Service responds to 38,715 Emergencies in 2025, Boosts Night Operations across Punjab

The 108 Ambulance Service operated by Zenplus Private Limited continued to serve as a lifeline for the people of Punjab during night hours, responding to 38,715 emergency cases between January 2025 and December 2025. The report specifically reflects emergencies attended during nighttime operations, highlighting the system’s round-the-clock preparedness and commitment to saving lives.
During the year, 12,762 pregnancy-related emergencies were handled at night, ensuring timely transportation and safe medical assistance for expectant mothers. The service also responded to 11,798 medical emergencies, 4,637 road accident cases, and 4,601 cardiac emergencies during late hours, when immediate response often becomes even more critical. In addition, 4,917 other emergency cases were attended by trained Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and pilots. The highest number of night responses was recorded in August 2025, with 3,908 cases, demonstrating the operational strength of the service even during peak demand periods.
Commenting on the performance, Manish Batra, Project Head, said, “The 108 Ambulance Service remains fully committed to providing uninterrupted emergency care across Punjab, especially during night hours when timely intervention can make the biggest difference. Responding to more than 38,000 emergencies at night is a testament to the dedication, discipline, and readiness of our entire team.”

The 2025 night service data reaffirms the strong emergency response network established across Punjab, ensuring that citizens receive swift and professional medical assistance at any hour of the day.
