Life-saving training imparted to Haryana Commandos

The under training commandos of Haryana Government are being provided training in basic life support and first aid at a Panchkula private hospital.
In first batch today, the training was imparted to 20 commandos. The programme was inaugurated by Anil Rao, ADGP Haryana.
The training to commandos was provided by Dr. Chetan Goel an American Heart Association Trainer, Dr. A K Sharma, neurosurgeon and Dr Sanjeev Trehan the surgeon.
It was a full day course covering all the topics of BLS and first aid in neurosurgery and trauma.
Hands on training was provided on mannequins and the commandos were also taught about how to apply various splints and collars to trauma victims.
Speaking during occasion, Dr. Harish Gupta, CEO of Ojas Hospital said, “This training programme is a part of our CSR activity and will be an ongoing process. We shall subsequently provided training to PCR van team and traffic police team”.
Meanwhile Anil Rao commended the effort of Ojas. He said that this will go a long way in helping the commandos, who are always on a high alert and are working under tough conditions.
