When asked, have you complain about the bad work done by the Improvement Trust Patiala, an old age person sitting outside his house, having broken road in front of his house said, “We will see them in votes. How will they approach us, with which face they are going to seek votes from us?”

He further added that “the concerned authorities are filling up the road with mud, sand to cover up the potholes, gravels. They just put a black liquid over the gravel, while making the new roads. That liquid stuck to our shoe soles and goes inside our houses. Within few days and recent rains that black liquid washes away.”

When contacted the executive engineer of Improvement Trust Patiala Er Narinder , he didn’t respond to the calls, message. When contacted Er Inderpal , assistant trust engineer, to know why this happened to the recently laid roads, he said “ yes, some of the roads got damaged. We will do the patchwork when the weather will be cleared. Some the payments of the contractor have not been paid.”
