Madeeha Irshad of Legend School, Srinagar tops Class 10 Board Exams

As per The Legend School, Srinagar press communique’ , a remarkable achievement that has sent waves of pride across the Kashmir Valley, Madeeha Irshad, a student of The Legend School, Srinagar, has emerged as the topper of the Class 10 Board Examination 2025, conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE). With an outstanding score of 498 out of 500, Madeeha has not only topped the Kashmir Division but also set a new standard of academic excellence for students across the region.
The results, officially announced by JKBOSE on May 1, 2025, covered around 1,45,671 candidates including 75,427 boys and 70244 girls from various districts of Kashmir. Among them, Madeeha’s stellar performance has shown the brightest, earning her the admiration of educators, fellow students, and the general public.
Madeeha Irshad, daughter of Irshad Ahmad and Hafeeza Akhter, resides at Sakidafar, Safa kadal of Srinagar city. Known among her teachers and peers for her sharp intellect, calm demeanour, and disciplined routine, Madeeha has always been a consistent performer in academics. Her exceptional result is the outcome of relentless hard work, family support, and the academic ecosystem nurtured at The Legend School.
Madeeha Irshad said with modesty and clarity that, “This is a moment of immense joy and gratitude. Imran Shah, chairman of the school remarked that Madeeha was never distracted. She had the ability to balance her time, stay motivated, and stay away from the noise. She inspired her classmates not only through her marks but through her attitude while the teachers describe her as “focused, humble, and academically curious.” She has been exceptional in sports and other co-curricular activities.
Madeeha maintained a strict daily routine during the academic session, dedicating 6–8 hours to self-study, practice papers, and mock tests. She emphasized the importance of time management, concept clarity, and avoiding overuse of social media. Her learning strategy included revising subjects regularly, taking short breaks for mental refreshment, and relying on NCERT textbooks and classroom lectures rather than commercial guides.
