Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University gets new Registrar

Prof. Gurinder Pal Singh Brar joined as the new Registrar of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda here on Wednesday.
MRSPTU, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Buta Singh Sidhu, Deans/Directors and senior faculty of the university welcomed Prof. Brar and gave him best wishes for the new assignment.
Prof. Brar comes to the MRSPTU, Bathinda with rich experience of having worked in the positions of Principal Government Polytechnic College, Fatuhi Khera (Malout), Registrar of erstwhile, Giani Zail Singh Campus College of Engineering and Technology, Bathinda and founder faculty in-charge of ECE department of Malout Institute of Management and Information Technology (MIMIT). In his more than two decade long career, he has held many responsible positions.
He is known for his sharp teaching and administrative skills. Prior to the present assignment, he served as Head, Department of Electrical Engineering at Government Polytechnic College, Bathinda.
Prof. Brar did his Ph.D on “Solar Bio-Gas Model for Generation of Energy” from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal. He is a post graduate in M.Tech. (Electrical Engineering) and also Law graduate from Panjab University, Chandigarh. He originally belongs to Bhittiwala village of Muktsar district.
