Major security breach before Independence Day in Punjab

In a first of its kind incident, ever reported, a Khalistan flag was hoisted, by removing Indian National flag, by some mischievous miscreants on the top of the Moga’s mini secretariat, housing office of the Deputy Commissioner’s office on Friday afternoon, just few hours before the Independence Day. It all happens when the state is on high alert due to Independence Day and the security was beefed up in the wake of celebration. At the same time, the miscreants took away the Indian flag from the mini-secretariat and waved the Khalistan flag there.
As per a video footage, shoot from outside the building, two persons were seen hoisting the Khalistan flag on Moga’s mini-secretariat, top.Police started investigating the footage of the surroundings CCTVs and searching the miscreants who did this unlawful act.
Major security breach before Independence Day in Punjab. Hoisting Khalistan Flag on a Deputy Commissioner’s office , which is one of the highly secured places and the incident shows the negligence by the officials. Keeping in mind the Sikh Referendum 2020, this is a big failure for Punjab Police, Intelligence, and the state government.
