Management Fest at World University

Department of Commerce and Management of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University organized the Management Fest. For the fest, students of the departments setup 20 different stalls including fun games, handmade crafts, Diwali decoration materials, cloth stalls, food stalls and natural products stalls etc. Some of the stalls were not for the purpose of earning money; rather the money earned through them will be given in charity. This event is annual feature of the department which provides practical exposure to the students in the field of marketing, Finance, Human Resource, event management and planning.
Coordinator of the event were Dr. Kanchan Garg, Parminder Kaur and Ramandeep Kaur who worked tirelessly to make the event a great success. The enthusiasm and response of the students was worth seeing. Dr. Prit Pal Singh, Vice Chancellor of the University congratulated the students and the department for organizing such an event. He also said that through this, management students get an opportunity to put theory into practice. It was a wonderful opportunity for the students to refresh their minds and to get a break from their routine study. Dr. R.K.Sharma, Head of Commerce and Management Department said that such activities have always been encouraged by our University. He also congratulated the whole staff for organizing such a seamless event and encouraged them to organize these kind of events in future as well.
