Maninder Kaur Virk elected vice president of Rowing Federation of India, Jasvir Singh Gill becomes joint secretary

Punjab Rowing Association president Maninder Kaur Virk(Bharatgarh) was elected vice president while Punjab Rowing Association general secretary Jasvir Singh Gill Dhudike was elected joint secretary of Rowing Federation of India during its elections of the executive committee of federation held recently.
The results were announced in Hyderabad (Telangana).Maninder Kaur Virk got 38 votes out of 50 votes while Jasvir Singh Gill Dhudike was polled 39 votes. Sri Balaj Mardappa was elected president of the Federation.
With this Rowing Federation of India will now have two office bearers from Punjab
Rupnagar District Rowing Association president Raj Kumar Sikka,general secretary Kultar Singh(Rajni Herbal),treasurer Parminder Pandohal,joint secretary Yashwant Bassi,executive member Surinder Singh,former senior vice president of Punjab Rowing Association Gurmukh Singh Saini have hailed the election of Maninder Kaur Virk and Jasvir Singh Gill Dhudike and said that it would go a long way in further promoting Rowing in Punjab.
