Many SSPs transferred in Punjab; blue eyed officer get maiden office posting; another IPS without posting get orders

Today, Punjab govt has issued transfer orders of 28 IPS, PPS officers. In today’s reshuffle many district gets new police chief.
Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, who is a blue eyed police officer of all political parties, officers get posting orders as IGP Provisioning Punjab, Chandigarh. Since his induction into the Punjab police he always remained on key posts of senior superintendent of police (SSP) in every successive government, be it akali dal or congress. After promotion he remained posted in field as DIG , commissioner of police, inspector general even in aam admi party’s government. But, in June 2024, for the first time in his career he remained without posting for few days and now he is posted in an office not in the field as IGP Provisioning, Punjab in AAP govt. tenure
Another IPS officer who get posting orders is Gurmeet Singh Chuhan. He is also available for posting and now posted as AIG Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF) Punjab, SAS Nagar. He was transferred as SSP Tarn Taran in September 2023 and kept without posting for many days.
Malerkotla and Fazilka district are newly created districts. Once again both districts get new police chiefs. These are two districts where no police officer remained posted for a longer period.
Once again ADGP ranked officers Naunihal Singh and IG ranked officer Paramraj Singh Umranangal failed to get posting orders. Naunihal Singh is without any posting since Nov 2023. Whereas Umranagal who recently got reinstated failed to get posting orders.
