Mata Gujri College holds Annual Convocation of 2019-20 session

Annual convocation of Mata Gujri College was organized in which Senior Akali leader, eminent social worker and Additional Secretary of College Governing body Jagdeep Singh Cheema graced the occasion as chief guest. During this convocation, 1450 students passed in the 2019-2020 session were awarded with degrees and 41 meritorious students were awarded gold medals for securing first position.
Chief guest Jagdeep Singh Cheema congratulated the students and said that it is a matter of pride for the students to get education from the college built on the name of Mata Gujri ji on the great historical place of Sri Fatehgarh Sahib. Sharing his experiences, he inspired the students to be persistent and active in achieving their goals with immense hard work, concentration and sincerity and encouraged them to shine the name of their college nationally and internationally.
Director Principal Dr. Kashmir Singh welcomed the chief guest and informed about the outstanding achievements of the college in the field of academic, religious, cultural and sports at the national and international level.
On this occasion, Bhagwant Singh Dhangera, Manager of Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, attended as a special guest. Vice Principal Dr. Bikramjit Singh specially thanked the chief guest, staff members and all dignitaries who attended the function and wished all students all the best for achieving success in their respective fields.
