Mata Gujri College Journalism deptt releases Lab journal FATEH

Director Principal of the Mata Gujri College, Dr. Kashmir Singh, released the latest issue of ‘Fateh’, a lab journal published by the Journalism and Mass Communication department. During the release, Dr. Kashmir Singh said that the bookish knowledge is not enough for overall development of the students in the present time; to progress along with the time, it is important to impart practical knowledge to the students. He stated that with the publication of ‘Fateh,’ the students get an opportunity to present their views and improve their writing skills.
Head of the department, Prof. Reena Kaur Dhillon, said that in the present edition, articles have been written focusing on the new students. This issue was dedicated to ‘Teacher’s Day’ and the teachers and students wrote articles and poems describing their views on the subject of Teacher-Student relationships. She also said that the journal was typed, edited, proof-read, and designed solely by the students.
She told that Damanpreet Kaur, Gurjeet Kaur, Manpreet Kaur, Karunanidhi, Gurpreet Singh, Gurpinder Kaur, Amrita, and Ginne assisted the editing of this publication. During this event, Prof. Kriti Talwar, Prof. Randeep Kaur, Prof. Dilraj Singh, Prof. Jasleen Kaur and Prof. Navroop of the department were present along with the students.
