Mata Gujri College signs accord with Synergy University Moscow

Mata Gujri College has added yet another achievement to its name by signing a MOU with the Synergy University, Moscow to provide its students a golden opportunity to study internationally.
Discussing about the accord, Director Principal of the college Dr. Kashmir Singh, said that, “This agreement includes Student Exchange, Teacher Exchange and Dual Degree Program. As per the agreement, the students who will duly qualify will be sent to the Synergy University for the study purposes along with one teacher for the duration of two weeks. The teachers of the Mata Gujri College will teach the students over there and our students will study under the teachers of the Synergy University. Both the educational institutions will also organize Seminars and Workshops time to time”.
The Head of International Department of Synergy University Anastasia Shanshina while expressing her pleasure said that this agreement will prove to be beneficial for both the educational institutions. The students will be provided every opportunity in academics and they will be able to reach new heights internationally.
The best thing, she further added, is that that under the Double Degree Program, the students of Commerce and Management Department will complete their last year in the Synergy University and then get their degree from there. To make this program successful, the Professors of both the educational institutions will design the syllabus of the courses unanimously so that the students do not face any difficulties and there are no discrepancies in the syllabus.
Bhai Gobind Singh Longowal, President of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, applauded the college on its achievement and said that the college has previously achieved the status of Autonomous College, Star College and received grade ‘A’ from NAAC following its good functioning and now these efforts at an international level are commendable.
Chief Secretary of SGPC, Dr. Roop Singh, while congratulating the Director Principal Dr. Kashmir Singh, staff members and the students, said that it is the need of the hour to offer students opportunities to grow at an international level.
Avtar Singh Sampla, Educational Secretary of SGPC said that because of its achievements, Mata Gujri College has a distinguished recognition among the educational institutions of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee. Such initiatives are helpful in the betterment of the students’ future.
Ranjit Singh Libra- Honorary Secretary of the Governing body of the College also congratulated all the staff members and students. During this, Dr. Bikramjit Singh Sandhu- Examination Controller and Dean Commerce Department, Dr. Harjit Singh, D. Jagdish Singh, Dr. Navdeep Singh, Prof. Gauri Handa, Prof. Navjeet Kaur, Prof. Sangeeta Joshi, Prof. Birinder Singh Sarao, Lalit Joshi, Prof. Dalip Singh and other senior teachers were present.
