MLA Dinesh Chadha inaugurates computer lab at govt college Rupnagar

A computer lab was set up for the students of computer science at Government College Rupnagar, which was inaugurated by Rupnagar MLA Advocate Dinesh Kumar Chadha.
On this occasion, Principal Jatinder Singh Gill thanked Dinesh Chadha for upgrading the education facilities of Government College Rupnagar. Vice Principal Dr. Harjas Kaur said that this lab has been named after Alan Turing the father of modern computer.
While inaugurating the computer lab, Advocate Dinesh Kumar Chadha appreciated the staff and students of the college.
He also inspired the students to get information about the solutions to the problems related to the villages, cities and localities and disseminate it among the common people.
He said that with the help of this lab, students coming from villages and rural areas will be able to get better technical education at a low fee, which contributes significantly to getting the job that is in demand at present.
Meanwhile, he planted a sapling in the college campus as part of the series of programmes being celebrated by the Department of Geography in connection with the ‘International Earth Day’.
On this occasion, college council member Dr. Sukhjinder Kaur, Prof. Meena Kumari, Prof. Shaminder Kaur, Dr. Nirmal Singh Brar, Dr. Dalwinder Singh, Dr. Jitendra Kumar, Prof. Randeep Singh, Prof. Dimple Dhir, Prof. Gurdeep Singh and Prof. Apart from Manpreet Singh, all staff members and students were present.
