MLA raided CHC ; found SMO in inebriated condition

Newly elected MLA Shutrana today visited Community Health Centre (CHC) Patran (in Patiala district) and found SMO Dr Rajesh in an inebriated condition.
As per available information, newly elected aam admi party (AAP) MLA Shutrana Kulwant Singh Bazigar today visited Civil Hospital Patran. The patients at the civil hospital complained him about the senior medical officer (SMO) Dr Rajesh drinking habits. When the MLA reached his office along with media, the SMO got shocked and didn’t utter any word.
MLA repeatedly asked him to utter a word, but SMO remained in a statute form and fail to utter a word.
MLA called up the civil surgeon Patiala Dr Prince Sodhi, who immediately deputed SMO Shutrana to go and inform the status. Meanwhile Dr Sodhi himself left for Patran.
At the time of filing this report, the health department has already done his medical examination and reports of the sample taken will be available shortly. The same is confirmed by the civil surgeon Patiala Dr Prince Sodhi.
When asked civil surgeon Patiala,is he a habitual drinker? On this Dr Sodhi said that he has not received any complaint against the said doctor.
When contacted MLA Kulwant Singh Bazigar, he didn’t respond to the repeated calls.
