Modern School Patiala bags Best Performing School Award
Modern Senior Secondary School, Patiala won the Explorica Award – 2017 for Best Performing School in its zone on the basis of outstanding performance of its students. One student of the school, Prachi Kapila, topped the district in the Gyan Manthan test conducted by Explorica. The school was awarded the Best Performing School and District Topper Awards by former President of India, Pranab Mukherjee at his residence at 10, Rajaji Marg.
The awards were sponsored by Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar, and over 25 schools from Punjab attended the event and were felicitated. The Principal of Modern School,Tripatjit Kaur, took the opportunity to say that it was a glorious moment as the school was also celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, and in a striking move to give back to the people of Patiala, Modern School was giving a 100% discount on admission fee for 2018-19. She hoped that many parents would be benefited, and would now be able to educate their children in a private school.
