Modern School Students Excel at District Basketball Tournament with Gold and Silver Wins

Modern Senior Secondary School, Patiala, under the Patiala-1 zone, made a strong impact in the district basketball tournament, organized by the School Games Federation of India, which was held at Government Multi-Purpose Senior Secondary School, Patiala, from 21 August to 23 August, 2024. The event brought together teams and schools from across the district, representing their respective zones.
In the under-19 boys’ category, Jitesh Sharma of Modern Senior Secondary School, Patiala led his team to victory, securing the gold medal after competing against seven other teams. His exceptional performance was pivotal in the team’s success.
In the under-17 girls’ category, Garima of Modern Senior Secondary School, Patiala, won the silver medal. She and her team competed against eight other formidable teams, showcasing skill and determination.
