Modi College wins Pbi Uni boxing (Girls) Championship

Multani Mal Modi College has won the Punjabi University Inter-College Boxing (Girls) Championship held at Polo Ground, Patiala. This championship was hosted by the college under the guidelines of Punjabi University, Patiala. College won the Championship by defeating the team of Akal Degree College, Mastuana Sahib by 38 points. Modi College has also won first positions in Punjabi University Inter-College Cycling Championship (Boys), Punjabi University Inter-College Cycling Championship (Girls), Punjabi University Inter-College Kho-Kho Championship (Boys), Punjabi University Inter-College Pistol Shooting Championship (Boys). The college was successful in winning total five Punjabi University Inter-College Championships during last week only.
The college Principal, Dr. Khushvinder Kumar welcomed the winning teams in the college campus and congratulated the team members. He assured that college will keep on providing the best facilities to the college sports persons.
Dr. Gurdeep Singh, Dean, Sports of the College congratulated Boxing team players Kajal, Mandeep Kaur, Harpreet Kaur, Sirjan Sandhu, Parvaz Kaur Aulakh, Shilpa Rani, Navdeep Kaur, Pooja and Anjali Bains performed very well. He also appreciated the other team members of different winning teams.
The Principal applauded the sincere efforts of Prof. Nishan Singh, Head, Sports Dept., Prof. Harneet Singh and Prof. (Ms.) Mandeep Kaur.
