SAS nagar (Mohali) Police today book Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal ,MP from Ferozepur along with senior akali leaders in a FIR registered u/s 188, 269,270 IPC and 51 A Disaster Management Act , 2005
Today i.e 7/06/2021 there was a rally organised by Shiromani Akal Dal to hold protest against Balbir Singh Sidhu Cabinet Minister Punjab near saint soldier school phase 7 Mohali.
In this protest Sukhbir Singh Badal, MP along with senior leadership of SAD participated.
Due to Covid -19 pandemic the orders has been issued by the District Magistrate SAS Nagar vide order no DCM/MA/2020/8597 dated 7/5/2021 regarding Covid Guidelines.The organisers and participants violated the guidelines and orders of District magistrate and held a protest rally.
The Case FIR no 131 Dt 7/6/2021 u/s 188 (Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), 269 (Negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life),270 (Whoever malignantly does any act which is, and which he knows or has reason to believe to be, likely to spread the infection of any disease dangerous to life) IPC and 51 A Disaster Management Act , 2005 (refusal to comply with any direction given by or on behalf of the Central government or the State government or the National Executive Committee or the State Executive Committee or the District Authority under the Act) has been registered against the following and about 200 unidentified persons .
