Mother’s Day celebrated at Police DAV Public School with great zeal

Police DAV Public School Patiala Celebrated Mother’s Day will with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Students from kindergarten to class II took part in various activities, including dance, speech and express their thoughts for their mother.Students had made cards for their mothers and prepared different art pieces.
Mothers were also involved in the activities with the children. The pre-primary kids danced under the theme ‘Motherhood’, children danced with them while dedicating the song to their mother.
A ramp walk was also done by the mothers and the winners of different titles were also felicitated. On this occasion school principal Savita Dhankhar appreciated the efforts of all the students and said the mother is the first teacher of a child. So, we must respect our parents and make efforts to fulfill their dreams.
A speech was also delivered by Science faculty in the senior classes to celebrate National Technology Day. The students were told that It’s a day to celebrate the incredible advancements and innovations that have shaped our world. From the internet to space exploration, successfully launched Trishul, technology has revolutionised how we live, work and communicate.
School principal Savita Dhankhar also added that It is also an opportunity to reflect on the challenges ahead and consider how we can harness the power of technology to address the biggest challenges facing our society.
Parashurama Jayanti was also celebrated as birth anniversary of sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. It falls during Shukla Paksha Tritiya in the month of Vaishakha. It is believed that Parashurama was born during Pradosh Kala.
According to Hindu belief unlike all other avatars Parashurama still lives on the Earth. The teachers elaborated to the students that if we have strong determination and focus in life we can never be defeated.
