Mother’s Day celebration at Police DAV Public School

The day that recognises the essence of a mother was celebrated in high spirits in Police DAV Public School , Patiala, today.
A special assembly was organised by Pansy house in which Jannat of class 8th A delivered a speech highlighting the significance of this day. Samreet Kaur of class 9thA recited a beautiful poem on mothers.
A special function was also organised in which mothers of students from class Nursery to 5th were invited to grace the occasion. Children presented various performances which include songs,poems ,dance and skit to honour Motherhood and the influence of mothers in society.
Games were played by mothers in which they bagged Best performer, Best ramp walk and many more. Winners were given gifts and all the participants received certificates.
Police DAV Public School Patiala Principal, Mohit Chug congratulated all the mothers and appreciated the performances of students.
