Chandigarh MP and former Union Minister Manish Tewari addressed a public gathering in Ward No. 25, Sector 38C. During the event, he also listened to the grievances of the residents. The gathering was organized by Chandigarh Congress Joint Secretary Manish Lamba, and Chandigarh Congress President H.S. Lucky was also present as a special guest.

Speaking on the occasion, Manish Tewari said that the Congress is the only party that truly works for national unity and communal harmony — values for which its leaders and workers have made countless sacrifices over the years. He emphasized that whatever development the country has seen so far has taken place during Congress governments.

He further stated that all issues related to Chandigarh’s development and the local residents’ concerns are regularly taken up with the relevant departmental officials to find timely solutions. Under this initiative, CCTV cameras have been installed in various areas to curb criminal activities. Additionally, other development works such as the installation of open-air gyms are being carried out based on local needs.
