Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda celebrated 72nd Republic Day with enthusiasm and Patriotic fervour at Athletic Ground.
Saluting the Nation and its freedom fighters, Chief Guest on the occasion, MRSPTU, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Buta Singh Sidhu unfurled the National Flag.
While addressing, Prof. Sidhu appealed to the gathering to adopt the attitude of humanity, brotherhood and national integrity. While stressing that process of Nation Building is still on, he strongly appealed the youth to arise to the challenges of the day and dedicate themselves to the building of strong Nation.
He said this day gives us an opportunity where on one hand, we should take pride in remembering the traditions of the glorious past of our country and on the other hand make a promise and pledge to continue these traditions in the future.
Today is the day to reaffirm our commitment to unity in diversity, fraternity and equality among all our citizens.
MRSPTU Registrar, Dr. Gurinder Pal Singh Brar, Dean Academic Affairs and GZSCCET Campus Director, Dr. Savina Bansal, Dean, College Development Council, Dr. Ashok Goel also conveyed their greetings on the Republic Day and gave best wishes for a bright future of the students.

Vivek Kondal, ANO of 2 Punjab R & V SQN, NCC of the Campus and Rajeev Varshney, 20 Punjab Battalion NCC led volunteers enthusiastically participated in the celebrations.
