MRSPTU new building constructed at a cost of 300 crore to be inaugurated soon-DC

Earlier known for its sand dunes now Bathinda district is now touching new heights in the field of technical education as soon a new building at a cost of Rs 300 will come up at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University.
Sharing this information Deputy Commissioner B. Srinivasan said that the new campus, which is spread over in an area of about 30 acres, will also have residential facilities for 3000 students. The new building will be inaugurated in the coming days.
Vice Chancellor of the University Mohan Paul Isher said that almost 90 percent construction work of the first phase of the University Campus has been completed which include Administrative Block, Accounts Branch Office, Examination Branch, Research and Development, Educational Affairs, Student Welfare, Public Relations, Training on Placement and Youth Sports and also the offices of Vice Chancellor and Registrar.
Sharing details about a special feature of the new campus, the Vice Chancellor said that apart from the use of solar energy, the special units have also been set up to store rainwater to recharge underground water.
Speaking about the courses offered by the university, the Vice Chancellor pointed out that the courses are started at the degree level of Matatronics, which in modern times is a key requirement for the good future of the students. The Vice Chancellor also stated that recently the All India Council of Technical Education has also provided training to the teachers.
