MRSPTU Scholar Represents India at Prestigious International Symposium on Pharmaceutical Analysis in Belgium

Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda, takes immense pride in announcing that Nitasha Chauhan, a dedicated Ph.D. scholar and University Research Fellow-cum-Teaching Associate from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology, has brought laurels to the university and the nation by presenting her research at the 54th International Symposium on High-Performance Liquid Phase Separations and Related Techniques (HPLC 2025), held recently in Bruges, Belgium.

Chauhan presented her research paper titled “AQbD Driven HPLC Method for Simultaneous Estimation of Caffeine and Misoprostol”, showcasing significant advancements in the field of pharmaceutical analysis. She represented both MRSPTU and India on this prestigious international platform.

Her participation at this globally acclaimed symposium was fully supported by a travel grant and funding from the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Government of India—a testament to the national recognition of her work.

The research was conducted under the mentorship of Dr. Shruti Chopra, whose guidance was instrumental in shaping the study. Chauhan is currently pursuing her Ph.D. under the joint supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Amit Bhatia, Dr. Shruti Chopra, and Dr. Shailendra Singh Rana, Associate Professor at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bathinda.

Dr. Gurinder Pal Singh Brar, Registrar, MRSPTU, extended heartfelt congratulations to Nitasha Chauhan and commended the department for consistently elevating the academic profile of the university. Prof. (Dr.) Anupam Kumar, Dean, Research & Development, also lauded her accomplishment, emphasizing that such achievements reflect MRSPTU’s unwavering commitment to global research excellence.
