We believe that clear and regular parental communication is at the heart of building a successful partnership between school and home. Reporting Children’s Progress in Primary School endorses the role of parents, as partners with schools, in extending children’s learning.
The Mukat Trust International School held an informal meeting with the Parent Ambassador of Kindergarten students on 26th September, 2019 to discuss on school’s progress and attainments. Many activities were planned for the fathers based on the core values and their interpretation where they were able to communicate directly and come out with their aspirations and expectations from the school. Discussions were held related to all the spheres of a child’s growth such as academics, co- curricular activities and sports. Parents also got the opportunity to give feedback and their valuable suggestions for effective classroom teaching.
Jasjit Kaur Jaggi, Principal addressed the parents with a famous quote by John. F. Kennedy that ‘Leadership and learning are indispensable’. She shared the school’s motto and vision, discussing the core values of MTIS ‘Aim, Aspire ,Achieve’ and stressed on the relevance of learning that always distinguishes the extra ordinary from the ordinary. MTIS family was grateful to them for sharing their perspectives and for giving their precious time.
