National Scholarship Test conducted at Mata Gujri College

National Scholarship Test was organized at Mata Gujri College, Fatehgarh Sahib for students doing 10 + 2 in various subjects in which about 300 students from all over the country enthusiastically participated. The National Scholarship Test was organized by the college as part of the aspiration building drive and under this scholarship scheme students would be able to get scholarship up to 75% of their total fee by enrolling in any course of their choice.
Director Principal Dr. Kashmir Singh said that apart from this scholarship of Rs. 25 lakhs, scholarships of more than Rs. 1 crore are also available for the students studying in the college. He stated that Mata Gujri College is committed that no deserving student should be left behind in studies due to financial difficulties. For this purpose, the National Scholarship Test is organized by the college as part of the aspiration-building campaign.
He further added that if a student will get 95 percent marks in this examination then he will be given a 75 percent concession in the total admission fee, if he will attain 85 percent to 94 percent marks then he will get a 50 percent concession in the admission fee, and students who will attain 75 percent to 84 percent marks, they will be getting a 30 percent discount on the admission fee. He also informed that 25 undergraduate courses and 31 post-graduate courses are running successfully in the college, including some short-term vocational courses for the better future of the students.
The students were given a tour of the college campus in which they were shown the administrative block, life sciences block, management and computer science block, commerce block, science block, arts block, social science block and college auditorium.
On this occasion the Vice Principal of the college Dr. Bikramjit Singh Sandhu, Controller Examinations Dr. Harjit Singh, Prof. Anupreet Singh Tiwana and other teachers were also present.
