National Space Day celebrated with full enthusiasm at Govt Bikram College

National space Day was celebrated at Government Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala under the guidance of College Principal Prof.(Dr)Kusum Lata on 23rd August 2024.
The day was celebrated according to the guidelines issued by UGC -MoE and Directorate of Higher Education to commemorate the recognition of India’s Moon Mission ,a day to laud the contribution of India’s space scientists.
An Ideathon on the theme of “Touching lives while touching the Moon : India’s Space Saga “was held in which 07 students participated and shared their creative ideas. Komal (B.Com -1C),Shakshi (B.Com -3 A ),Ismanjot Kaur (B.Com -1C) andJaspreet Kaur secured first ,second and third position respectively .About 110 students participated in the program , who watched the live streaming of the Program telecast on the official website of ISRO.
Dr Tarandeep Kaur coordinated the program. Dr Paramjit Kaur judged the ideathon . The others present were Dr Jyoti Tirthani,Dr Jaspreet Kaur, Dr Rekha Rani and Dr Rajni Bala .
