Navjot Singh Sidhu not to contest elections; back in IPL

Congress star campaigner, probable lok sabha candidate from Punjab Navjot Singh Sidhu seems to have said good bye to his political career. Star Sports has once again signed former Indian cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu as a commentator, for the IPL season.
Cricketer turned politician turned commentator turned TV show judge turned politician Navjot Singh Sidhu is once again turning towards commentator role.
The IPL is going to start from March 22,2024 till May 29,2024 and the Lok Sabha elections in India is going to start from March 20,2024 onwards. Punjab election process is going to start from May 7 and the polling date June 1,2024
Speculations were rife that Navjot Singh Sidhu might contest elections from Amritsar lok sabha seat, which he earlier represented in the lok sabha.
The Congress working committee, the party’s top decision making body is going to meet today to discuss, approve, finalise the party’s manifesto and party candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
