NCC Day celebration at Modi College: Cadets must serve the nation with dedication and integrity–Rajesh Malhotra

Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala, witnessed a grand celebration of NCC Day with vibrant cultural performances and enthusiastic participation from cadets representing three NCC battalions. The event highlighted the spirit of discipline, unity, and culture, which are the core values of the National Cadet Corps.
The occasion was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Rajesh Malhotra, PPS, DSP Anti Narcotics Celll, Patiala, whose motivational address inspired the cadets to continue serving the nation with dedication and integrity.
Principal Dr. Neeraj Goyal, in his address, emphasized the importance of NCC in shaping the youth into responsible citizens and commended the cadets for their outstanding efforts.
The event featured a variety of cultural performances, including traditional dances such as Gidda, Bhangra, and Rajasthani folk, along with poetry recitations, singing, and other creative acts. These performances showcased the talent and energy of the cadets, leaving the audience spellbound.
Cadets from 5 PB Battalion, 4 PB Girls Battalion and 3 Air Squadron alongwith their Associate NCC Officers, Lieutenant Dr Rohit Sachdeva, Lieutenant Dr Nidhi Rani Gupta and Flying Officer Dr Sumeet Kumar, actively participated, making the event a resounding success.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the contribution of the Chief Guest, Principal, Associate NCC Officers, faculty members, staff, and cadets for making the event memorable.
The day was a true reflection of the NCC motto, “Unity and Discipline,” and a proud moment for Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala.
