New Corona cases scaring residents of Patiala district

As per civil surgeon Patiala, today, 57 new cases were reported in Patiala district. Today 43 patients were discharged from covid care centres, hospitals in Patiala district and now total cured patients touched 510 mark. Active cases in Patiala go up to 622 with todays new cases.
Out of these 57 cases, 47 reported from Patiala, 2 each from Nabha, Samana, 1 from Patran and 5 from different villages of Patiala district.Of these, 29 positive cases came in contact and samples taken from the containment zone showed covid positives, coming from a foreign state, including 27 new cases of flu and those without flu symptoms.
Patiala Street No. 6 Tripuri to 4, Gobind Nagar, Sadbhavna Hospital 3 each, New Police Line, SST Nagar, Military Cantt, Top Khan Mor, Ragho Majra, Ghuman Colony, Tegh Colony, Shaheed Udham Singh Nagar. Two from Dhillon Colony and one from Phulkiyan Enclave, Purbia Street, Friends Colony, Safabadi Gate, Mohindra Colony, Preet Nagar, Urban Estate Phase-2, Lahori Gate, Bishan Nagar, 6-Tank, Fateh Colony, Desi Mehmandari etc. one each covid positive cases have been reported. One positive case each from Sekhon Colony and Subhash Park of Samana, Ward No. 15 of Patran, Bishan Pura Mohalla of Nabha and one and 11 positive cases from Gurdev Colony have been reported from different villages.
He said that a 62-year-old resident of Bishanpura Mohalla, Nabha, who was suffering from diabetes and heart disease and was admitted to Rajindra Hospital in critical condition yesterday, was also found to be positive and was undergoing treatment. The death toll from covid patients in the district has risen to 17.
