NITTTR Chandigarh online celebrated National Technology Day 2020

The ongoing Covid 19 pandemic is not discouraging institutes, scientists, professors, students, etc. to move toward technology to continue with various scientific and technical activities. In this line, NITTTR Chandigarh and CSIR-AMPRI Bhopal, joined hands in celebrating National Technology Day 2020. Professor (Dr.) Shyam Sundar Pattnaik Director, NITTTR Chandigarh, Professor (Dr.) Avanish Kumar Srivastava, Director, CSIR- AMPRI, Bhopal, Professor (Dr.) J. S. Chauhan Director, SATI, Vidisha, Mankaj Singh,Founder (Director), M/s MW Social Enterprises Pvt Ltd, Indore delivered the heartwarming motivating addresses to the participants. Principals of 150 Kendriya Vidyalay Sangthan, Principals of 113, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Principals of other reputed schools, Teachers of Kendriya Vidyalay Sangthan schools, Teachers of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti schools, Teachers of other reputed schools, Faculty members of various Engineering and Polytechnic institutes of the country, Scientists/ Technical Staff/ other staff from CSIR-AMPRI Bhopal and Faculty/ staff members from NITTTR Chandigarh, participated in the online programme.
The programme also witnessed the auspicious presence of Somit Shrivastava Deputy Commissioner Kendriya Vidyalay Sangthan Regional Office Bhopal, Tajuddin Shaik Deputy Commissioner Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Regional Office, Jabalpur, Chandana Mandal Deputy Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalay Sangthan, Regional Office Raipur and P. S. Sardar Commissioner, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Regional Office Bhopal Region.Several Assistant commissioners of Kendriya Vidyalay Sangthanand Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti also attended the programme.
On this occasion, Professor (Dr.) Avanish Kumar Srivastava, Director, CSIR- AMPRI, Bhopal also, delivered a motivating talk on Nanostructured materials and their applications with emphasis on how a lab research can transform to technology, and presented an example of know how transfer of technology through one of his Sr. Principal Scientist, Dr S. K. S. Rathore. Professor (Dr.) Shyam Sundar Pattnaik Director, NITTTR Chandigarh highlighted the importance of joint projects and collaboration for the successful transfer of lab knowledge to technology. The programme was jointly organized by NITTTR Chandigarh and CSIR-AMPRI Bhopal in the coordination of Dr. Dr. Satanand Mishra, Dr Ashok Kumar and Prof. Pankaj Sharma.
