No entry-PSPCL management banned entry at its head office

“Keeping in the view the rising number of cases of Covid 19, Punjab state power corporation limited has banned the entry of general public in its head office, at Patiala. It further discontinued the public dealing, at its head office, till further orders” said Nodal officer-cum-Dy Secy-IR, PSPCL.

As per the instructions, issued by the Nodal officer, on behalf of its CMD it is further clarified that “any outside visitor, who wants to meet the CMD, directors or any field offices employees who wants to meet the officials for transfer’s cases, promotion cases, are not allowed to visit PSPCL head office, till further orders.”

Nodal officer, also instructed, that “employees, who works in field offices of PSPCL ,would be given entry to the head office Patiala, only after obtaining the consent of the concerned office / official at the head office, after checking the identity card of the employee and completing the proper process of sanitization. “

“If any outside employee is found in PSPCL head office without any work and without face mask, departmental action would be initiated against him/ her. All the employees / officers posted at the head office, must keep their identity card along with them, at the time of entering PSPCL head office at Patiala and face masks are compulsory for them also” read the instructions.

“No entry-PSPCL management banned entry at its head office and if found violating ibid directives of COVID appropriate behavior, would attract disciplinary action. Pregnant women employees and those having chronic diseases may be allowed to work from home. Online media of communication like videoconferencing, emails etc shall be used for official meetings, correspondence. The consumer shall be encouraged to use online platforms for payments of their electricity bills, lodging complaints ” advised by management.
