No holiday declared in Punjab for April 26, 2023

Punjab government has not declare any holiday for April 26, 2023 as a mark of respect, on the demise of former chief minister of Punjab Padma Vibushan Parkash Singh Badal.
Earlier, some section in the news has wrongly circulated, printed about the holiday in Punjab on April 26,2023 . Only two day national mourning has been declared by prime minister Narendra Modi.
The same has been confirmed by the Punjab government officials that there is no holiday on April 26,2023 in the state.
As per available information, the state government is going to declare holiday for April 27,2023 , the day on which Parkash Singh Badal’s cremation is to be held.
