Noble gesture-IMA Patiala donated medicines worth more than 2.5 lakh through its medicine bank

Dr Bhagwant Singh president IMA Punjab was present and he said that these are essential medicines which will be required in near future to help people in flood affected areas.
Dr Chander Mohini president IMA PATIALA told media that IMA has given 39 cartons of medicines which included Skin treatment creams, Anti fungals antibiotics, stomach infections, anti diarrheal , medication for vomiting, acidity, fever, insect bites, anti malarial , cough cold medicine, multivitamins, kids medications and many more.
Dr Nidhi Bansal secretary IMA Patiala said that All these medicines were donated to the civil surgeon office today for use as the need arises for free distribution under supervision of learned doctors to flood victims.
She reiterated that member doctors of IMA have been giving services in flood affected areas and have donated medicines and money to fund relief operations.
Dr RAMINDER Kaur, civils surgeon Patiala received the medical aid from IMA and expressed gratitude for unconditional support from IMA Patiala. She also said that medicines donated by IMA members are very very essential and much needed in current scenario.
Those present on the occasion included Dr Jagpalinder Singh Medical Superintendent (MS) Mata Kaushalya Hospital (MKH) , Dr Sukhjinder singh DFPO, Dr Sumeet singh epidemiologist, Dr Kushal Deep AHO, Dr Gurpreet Kaur DIO, Dr Jasvinder Singh DMC and Dr Rachna kaur ACS among others
