On Punjabi University SMO’s initiative Fortis hospital signs MoU; staff to get treatment on CGHS rates

An MOU was signed between Punjabi University, Patiala and Fortis Hospital, Mohali.
After this Fortis Hospital, Mohali is empanelled with Punjabi University, Patiala.
The Employees, Faculty and Staff, both Retired and working and their dependents will get the following Services at CGHS Rates :
- Cardiology.
- Oncology.
- Joint Replacements under Orthopedics.
- Opthalmology.
- Arthroscopic Surgery with Sports Medicine.
- Neurosurgery.
At other Services Discount and incentives and conditions apply on other services.
The Employees will have to show their ID Card and Health Card for the Dependents.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Regina SMO said this will help the Employees, faculty and their dependents to take the facilities at CGHS Rates.
Vice Chancellor, Prof Arvind congratulated the SMO for taking this initiative to give the best Facilities to the Employees and their families.
Dr YashpalSharma, Dean Academics said this MOU will be beneficial to the Punjabi University family.
Dr NavjotKaur ,Registrar said this facility will help the employees, faculty and their dependents to take the facilities at CGHS rates.
