Over 100 Drug Traffickers nabbed during last three months in Sri Anandpur Sahib Constituency – Harjot Bains

Punjab Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains participated in the Drug-Free Awareness March under the ongoing “War Against Drugs” campaign at village Basowal.
While addressing the gathering on the occasion, Harjot Singh Bains stated that in the past three months, Punjab Police had put 11,000 drug traffickers behind bars. Specifically, in Sri Anandpur Sahib constituency, over 100 drug traffickers had been nabbed and imprisoned.
He emphasized that their mission is to completely free the constituency, the district, and the entire state of Punjab from drugs. “Until we rid Punjab of drugs completely, we will not rest,” he asserted.
Harjot Singh Bains urged the public to contribute their part in this fight and share information about drug traffickers via the WhatsApp number released by the Punjab Government and Punjab Police. He assured that the identity of informants would be kept completely confidential, which is why only a WhatsApp number has been provided. However, he also noted that some individuals are misusing this facility, which is not appropriate.
