Patiala police has booked Bhupinder Singh a resident of Hira Bagh Patiala, unknown persons who attended the party organized by Bhupinder Singh and the Rajindra Gymkhana and Mahendra Club (Maharani club) management for allowing the party in its premises and flouted the Covid 19 norms.
After the news flashed in media regarding a party organized by a club member in the Rajindra Gymkhana and Mahendra Club, Patiala, the participant, guests openly flouted the covid norms, attended the party without face masks, maintained no social distancing, waiters serving without masks, SSP Vikramjeet Duggal marked the enquiry to SP City Patiala.
After probing the incident, a FIR is lodged at Lahori gate Police Station, Patiala under section 269 ,270 of IPC (Whoever unlawfully or negligently does any act which is, and which he knows or has reason to believe to be, likely to spread the infection of any disease dangerous to life) section 271 of IPC (provides that whoever knowingly disobeys any rule made and promogulated by the Government ), 188 of IPC (Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), section 51 Disaster Management Act (obstructs any officer or employee of the Central Government or the State Government, or a person authorised by the National Authority or State Authority or District Authority in the discharge of his functions under this Act) , Section 3 Epidemic Act 1897 (Any person disobeying any regulation or order made under this Act shall be deemed to have committed an offence punishable under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code)
