Patiala clashes-Did Patiala police inform MHA after lodging FIR against Harish Singla ?

“Punjab police will follow the procedure and inform the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) over the registration, arrest of Shiv Sena leader Harish Singla” said senior superintendent of police, Deepak Pareek. When questioned whether the police has inform the MHA or CRPF about the registration of the FIR over Harish Singla,a CRPF protectee, SSP Patiala avoided the question again and said “ we will follow the procedure.”
As per available information, Harish Singla, former Shiv Sena leader and one of the key accused of clashes that rocked the royal city Patiala, is under CRPF X category security. As per sources, he got the security cover from the MHA.
When contacted the inspector general of Police, Patiala range Mukhwinder Singh Chinna what category protectee is Harish Singla , he said “ I’ll got it checked about the category of security he is availing.” When questioned is he a X,Y category protectee, IGP Chinna said “ no he is not a such protectee.”
As per sources, he has Punjab police security also along with the central police force protection.After the registration of FIR against him, the Punjab police may inform the MHA. After this he might lose his security.
Officials of who are guarding him are nervous as they don’t know what to do now. On the condition of anonymity one of the official said “we have to wait for our seniors order, till than we can’t leave him. It’s our duty to give security cover to him. ”

Patiala police has booked Harish Singla under section 353 (Assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty), 186 (Whoever voluntarily obstructs any public servant in the discharge of his public functions) ,188 (Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) ,153-A (who indulge in wanton vilification or attacks upon the religion, race, place of birth, residence, language etc of any particular group or class or upon the founders and prophets of a religion) , 506 (Punishment for criminal intimidation) , 148 (Rioting, armed with deadly weapon) , 149 (Every member of unlawful assembly guilty of offence committed in prosecution of common object) , 120-B (a criminal conspiracy to commit an offence) at Kotwali Police Station on April 29,2022.
This all started after a call Khalistan Murdabad March to be organised by the Shiv Sena (Bal Thackeray) leader Harish Singla on April 29,2022. Harish Singla, the executive president of the outfit, led the anti-separatist march from Patiala’s Arya Samaj Chowk to Kali Devi Temple. On the other hand Barjinder Singh Parwana followers also reached on Mall road, outside Kali Mata Mandir, where the clash goes off between two groups-one led by Harish Singla and other by Barjinder Singh Parwana.
