Patiala Heritage -special screening of movie Nanak Noor e Illahi done for localities

The ‘Patiala Heritage Festival 2020’ entered it’s fourth day with a bang. As part of the functions being held, a show of the film ‘Nanak Noor e Illahi’ was today organized at the Phul cinema. The film was based on the philosophy of Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and both of its shows received excellent response from the students, general public as well as the eminent personalities. The film has the philosophy of Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, ‘Kirt Karo’, ‘Naam Japo’, and ‘Wand Chhako’ at its core and was shown as part of the commitment of the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to connect the people with the philosophy of Guru Sahib as was the purpose behind the 550th Prakash Purb celebrations.
The film which is the production of eminent producer, Vikas Parasher and Sikh Scholar Dr. Sukhpreet Singh and Directed by . Dharminder Anand. It has Tinu Sharma in the lead besides Dali playing Daud, and other actors including Dilpreet Muskhan who studied at Pingalwara in Aitsar, Ritu Noora and Harpreet Rimpy. Music is by Gulshan Mir – Rekha Mir and Jassi Nihaluwal. The star cast was today honoured at Phul cinema.
After watching the film, the VC of the Punjabi University Patiala Dr. B. S. Ghuman said that the societal ills can be confronted by following the holy principles of ‘Kirt Karo’, ‘Naam Japo’, ‘Wand Chhako’. He advocated that the film must be shown throughout the length and breadth of the country to ensure peace, amity and universal brotherhood.
On the occasion, the son-in-law of the Chief Minister and Preneet Kaur and the international polo player Gurpal Singh, Jai Shergill, Mayor Sanjeev Sharma, Vice-Chancellor of Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Punjab Sports University Lt. Gen. J.S. Cheema, Chief Minister’s OSD Rajesh Sharma, President of Urban Congress . KK Malhotra, Senior Deputy Mayor Yoginder Singh Yogi, Deputy Mayor s. Vinti Sangar, . Sonu Sangar, . Harvinder Singh Nippy, Inderjit Kaur, Atul Joshi Ravinder Pal Singh Sweety, Dr. Darshan Singh Ghuman, Rajinder Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Kumar Amit, Municipal Commissioner Poonamdeep Kaur, Joint Commissioner Avikash Kumar and a large number of councilors including students of schools and colleges, appreciated the film.
